Truth be told, I’m not sure why I’m blogging again–I honestly have enough on my plate–but here I am, writing a blog post. I used to blog a lot in undergrad, likely because it was a requirement for most of my classes, and I recently realized how much I missed the entire concept of blogging. So, here we are.
I feel like I’m constantly being asked “What are you up to?” “How’s life?” “How’s school?” “Working on any projects?”and instead of having to explain things over and over again, I decided to put it all here. Right here in this blog, Lazy Day Thoughts. The blog name, thinking about it now, is a bit comical because I rarely have what people consider lazy days. Lazy days for me consist of working on a project I’ve been stalling on for weeks or finding a completely new project for me to begin. Sometimes its playing with our dogs, hanging out with friends, or going on a trip. And other days it’s working on schoolwork, tagging along on whatever farm activity Chip is working on, or yardsaling with my mom and aunt. The point is, I never have lazy days. Lazy moments, yes. Lazy hours, yes. But entire days of laziness? Rarely.
So what’s the point of this blog then? To capture all of my moments, or at least as many as I can remember to take pictures of and post about. So often I find myself working on projects, trying a new recipes, or wearing a cute outfit and when I go to share it with someone or recreate it I realize I’ve forgotten all about it. The whole point of this blog is for me to take a lazy moment and fill it with another activity: blogging about the many activities of my life. If you enjoy it, keep coming back to visit. If you hate it, I don’t care. Don’t come back.
